How to reset your Glue Hub

Troubleshooting:

Q: When holding the hub’s button pressed, the light doesn’t turn off.
A: Release the button and try again. If the problem persists, re-power the hub first.

Q: When holding the hub’s button pressed, the light doesn’t start flashing fast after it turns off.
A: Release the button and try again. If the problem persists, try the factory reset again, this time simply holding the button pressed for a minimum of 10 seconds instead. After the 10 seconds has elapsed, re-power the hub and proceed to try installation.

Q: When pressing the hub’s button a second time, the hub’s light doesn’t start slow flashing.
A: Release the button and try again. If the problem persists, re-power the hub and proceed to try installation. Note that if the hub’s light isn’t slow flashing, the hub definitely isn’t ready to be installed.

Q: The app reports an error at the end of installation, either saying “Timed out waiting for hub registration to complete” or “Could not register hub. Please check the Internet connection of your Wi-Fi router.“.
A: Continue to check the hub’s light for a minute. If it stops flashing, the installation was successful but took longer than expected. Press “Cancel” in the app and check that an entry for the hub now exists in the Wi-Fi Hubs list. If instead the light continues to flash, repeat the factory reset process.

Q: The app reports an error at the beginning of installation, saying that it failed to contact the hub.
A: Restart Bluetooth on the phone and then restart the app, then try installation again. If the problem persists, it suggests that the hub has not been properly factory reset.
